Hope for kids with painful mouth sores: new drug trial launches

Summary
This study tests whether the drug apremilast can reduce painful mouth ulcers in children aged 2 to 17 with Behçet's disease. About 60 participants will receive either apremilast or a placebo for 12 weeks to see if it helps heal sores and ease pain. The goal is to find a safer, effective treatment for kids with this rare inflammatory condition.
