Summary

This study tests whether apremilast, a drug already used for other conditions, can help reduce alcohol cravings in people with moderate to severe alcohol use disorder. About 100 adults seeking treatment will receive one of two doses of the drug or a placebo for several weeks. The main goal is to see if the drug lowers cravings and helps cut down on heavy drinking days.
