First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study is for men with metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer that has spread to a limited number of sites. It compares standard drug therapy (apalutamide plus hormone therapy) to the same drugs plus a local treatment like radiation or surgery to the prostate. The goal is to see if the combined approach delays cancer growth and reduces complications. About 566 participants will be enrolled across Italy.
