NCT ID NCT07499960
First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at whether eating three apples a day for three days changes the activity of gut bacteria in healthy adults. Fifteen volunteers provided stool samples before and after the apple-eating period. Scientists used a special technique to measure chemical changes in the samples. The goal was to see if a short-term increase in fruit fiber can be detected through gut bacteria activity.
