Your earbuds as hearing aids? new study tests Apple's claim
NCT ID NCT07044518
Summary
This study tested whether Apple AirPods Pro 2 can accurately check hearing and amplify sound for people with mild to moderate hearing loss, similar to traditional hearing aids. Researchers compared hearing test results and sound amplification from the AirPods to standard tests and Phonak hearing aids in 21 adults. The goal is to see if this common consumer device could provide a more accessible hearing help option.
