New chemo delivery method tested for rare abdominal cancer
NCT ID NCT06207305
Summary
This early-phase study is testing a new way to give the chemotherapy drug paclitaxel directly into the abdominal cavity for patients with advanced appendix cancer that has spread. The goal is to find a safe and effective dose and see if this direct delivery can shrink tumors and help control the disease. The trial is for adults whose cancer is confined to the abdomen and cannot be removed by surgery.
