Summary

This early-stage study tested a new medicine called APPA-1 in 40 healthy volunteers and people with osteoarthritis. The main goal was to see if it is safe and how the body processes it. Researchers also looked at how food and gender affect the drug. This is a first step toward finding a new treatment to ease osteoarthritis symptoms.
