Phone app aims to ease recovery from major lung surgery
NCT ID NCT06732193
Summary
This study is comparing two ways to help patients recover after surgery for a common type of lung cancer. It will test if using a special breathing exercise app on a smartphone, in addition to standard in-person therapy, works better than the in-person therapy alone. The goal is to see which approach better reduces complications like pneumonia after surgery. About 560 patients scheduled for lung surgery will participate.
