Summary

This study aims to find out if using a weight loss app together with a wearable fitness tracker is more effective for managing weight than using the app by itself. Researchers will enroll 300 adults who are overweight or have obesity and assign them to use either the app alone, the app with a tracker, or just receive standard health information. The main goal is to see which approach leads to better weight loss, more physical activity, and improved mental well-being over 12 weeks.
