Can 10 minutes on a phone app ease the heavy burden on dementia caregivers?

NCT ID NCT05732038

Summary

This study tested whether a mindfulness training smartphone app could help reduce stress for people caring for family members with dementia. Researchers compared the mindfulness app to a general wellness app over 12 weeks. The main goal was to see if using the app was practical and acceptable for busy caregivers, while also checking for early signs it could lower stress, anxiety, and depression.
