First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests a smartphone app called JomCare that provides timely support to men who have sex with men (MSM) to reduce chemsex—using drugs before or during sex—which raises HIV risk. About 482 HIV-negative or unknown-status men who have done chemsex in the past year will use the app for several months. The goal is to see if the app can lower risky behaviors and prevent new HIV infections.
