Smartphone app aims to curb dangerous 'Chemsex' and stop HIV spread

NCT ID NCT06794840

Summary

This study is testing a smartphone app designed to help men who have sex with men reduce risky drug use during sexual activity ('chemsex'), which is linked to higher HIV transmission. The app sends timely, personalized support messages when users might be most vulnerable to risky behavior. The goal is to see if these messages help participants avoid risky situations and prevent new HIV infections.
