Game-Changing app aims to transform dental hygiene for autistic youth

NCT ID NCT07446413

Summary

This study is testing whether a specially designed mobile app can help children and teens with autism improve their toothbrushing skills and build lasting habits. Researchers will compare an interactive app with games and a cartoon guide to a simpler app with just a timer and mirror. Over 270 child-caregiver pairs will use their assigned app daily for three months while researchers track brushing quality, duration, and habit formation.
