Can a phone app cut pain rehab time for teens in half?

NCT ID NCT07485426

Summary

This study is testing if a shorter, 6-week hospital-based pain rehabilitation program, combined with 6 weeks of at-home exercise and mindfulness training delivered by a mobile app, works as well as the standard 12-week hospital program alone. It involves about 60 teenagers (ages 13-19) with long-term chronic pain. The goal is to see if this blended approach can make effective treatment more accessible.
