Phone app aims to help stroke patients swallow safely again
NCT ID NCT07267468
Summary
This study is testing whether a smartphone or tablet app can help people recover their ability to swallow after a stroke. Researchers will compare patients who use the app alongside their usual care to those who receive only usual care. The goal is to see if the app helps improve swallowing, reduces risks like pneumonia and malnutrition, and improves quality of life.
