New app aims to ease the heavy load for rural dementia caregivers

Summary
This study is testing a smartphone app called 'Brain CareNotes' to see if it helps people caring for family members with dementia in rural areas. The app is designed to reduce caregiver stress and help manage difficult dementia-related behaviors. Researchers will compare the app to a basic educational app over six months with about 60 participants.
