New app aims to keep medically complex kids out of the hospital
NCT ID NCT06883045
Summary
This study is testing a smartphone app designed to help parents of children with multiple, complex chronic illnesses. The app helps parents track key symptoms daily to spot early signs their child's health might be getting worse, with the goal of preventing emergency room visits and hospital stays. Researchers will enroll 360 families to see if using the app for 6 months leads to fewer hospital admissions and improves quality of life for both the child and their parents.
