Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone app with mapping technology helps people start rehabilitation sooner after hip replacement surgery. 142 adults who had a hip replacement used either the app or standard care (calling their family doctor). The app shows nearby rehab centers, available appointments, and costs. Researchers measured how quickly rehab began, hip function, pain, and quality of life.
