Summary
This study tested whether a personalized smartphone app and wearable device could help older adults adopt healthier lifestyles. Researchers compared the app, which provided coaching on physical activity and nutrition, to standard health education materials. They enrolled 237 healthy adults aged 60-80 to see if the digital tool improved activity levels, diet, and overall quality of life over one year.
