New app aims to ease the burden on family caregivers

Summary
This study tested whether a mobile app called CLARE could help train and support family caregivers. It involved 50 caregivers aged 35 and older who were helping an older loved one recover from COVID-19 at home after a hospital stay. The app provided daily guidance on patient care and caregiver self-care for one week to see if it was useful and easy to use.
