Phone app aims to ease the mental burden of diabetes

Summary
This study is testing whether a self-help smartphone app called MyDiaMate can help reduce the mental stress and worry that often comes with managing type 1 diabetes. The trial involves 660 adults with type 1 diabetes across four European countries. Participants are randomly assigned to either use the app for three months or continue with their usual care, to see if the app improves their emotional well-being.
