Smartphone app aims to ease burden for families of kids with kidney disease
NCT ID NCT04075656
Summary
This study tested a mobile app called UrApp, designed to help families manage a chronic childhood kidney disease called nephrotic syndrome. The app provided reminders for medication and urine testing, helped track results, and alerted doctors. Researchers compared 58 families using the app to those receiving standard care for one year to see if it improved disease management and outcomes.
