New app aims to be a digital coach for kids with celiac disease

NCT ID NCT07192874

Summary

This study is testing a smartphone app called MyMedDiary to see if it helps children newly diagnosed with celiac disease. Researchers want to know if using the app makes it easier for families to stick to a strict gluten-free diet and learn which foods are safe. The study will involve 120 children and will compare the app's tracking to traditional paper food diaries over six months.
