Phone app aims to tame silent killer in At-Risk community

NCT ID NCT06078540

Summary

This study tested whether adding a special smartphone app could help African American adults with poorly controlled high blood pressure. The app connected to a home blood pressure cuff, sent readings to doctors, and provided medication reminders and health tips. Researchers wanted to see if using the app alongside a standard remote monitoring program would help lower blood pressure more effectively.
