Can your phone help heal your liver? new app trial aims to curb drinking
NCT ID NCT06305624
Summary
This study is testing whether a smartphone app can help people with alcohol-related liver disease stop drinking. About 300 patients from clinics in Michigan and Wisconsin will either use the app along with their usual care or receive usual care alone for six months. The main goal is to see if the app helps people have more days without alcohol, which could prevent their liver disease from getting worse.
