Distraction app tested to beat back pain exercise boredom
NCT ID NCT07192809
Summary
This study is testing if using a distraction app on a phone during exercise helps people with long-term, non-specific low back pain stick to their prescribed workout routine. Sixty participants will be randomly assigned to either use the app during their exercises or to do the same exercises without it for eight weeks. The main goal is to see if the app improves how consistently people do their exercises, which may then lead to less pain and better movement.
