Could an app replace your Post-Surgery eye check?

NCT ID NCT06429527

First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at whether people who had cataract surgery can safely skip the one-week hospital checkup by using a vision-testing app and a questionnaire at home. About 334 adults aged 50–80 will either use the app or visit the clinic as usual. The goal is to see if the app approach is just as safe, more convenient, and better for the environment.
