First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using a smartphone app to guide care can help people with atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) do better after a procedure called FARAPULSE ablation. About 500 adults who are getting this treatment for the first time will be randomly assigned to usual care or app-based support. The main goal is to see if the app helps keep the heart in normal rhythm and may also improve thinking and memory.
