New drug hopes to save legs from amputation in artery disease trial

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called APAC that aims to prevent blood clots in people with blocked leg arteries. It includes 42 adults aged 45-85 with severe disease, some of whom will have a procedure to restore blood flow. The goal is to see if APAC is safe and well tolerated, and to find the best dose. Participants will be monitored for up to 180 days.
