Researchers seek better ways to monitor aortic health in rare diseases
NCT ID NCT05715203
Summary
This study aims to better understand aortic stiffness in people with genetic conditions that affect the aorta, the body's main artery. Researchers will measure stiffness using a simple, non-invasive test called Pulse Wave Velocity in 250 participants who have thoracic aortic aneurysms. The goal is to learn how stiffness relates to other features of the aorta to help doctors better assess risk and monitor these conditions over time.
