NCT ID NCT06676371

Summary

This study is the world's first multi-center trial to compare two major surgeries for a life-threatening tear in the body's main artery (acute Type A aortic dissection). It will enroll 150 patients to see if a newer, more complex procedure (TARFET) leads to better 30-day survival than the current standard surgery (HAR). The goal is to find the safest and most effective approach for this critical emergency condition.
