Could your Body's stress response predict aortic danger?

NCT ID NCT05703893

Summary

This study aims to understand how the body's automatic nervous system (which controls things like heart rate and blood pressure) functions in people with a rare condition called thoracic aortic aneurysm (TAA). Researchers want to see if measuring this system can help predict which patients are at higher risk for serious complications like aortic tears. Participants will have their blood pressure and breathing monitored while lying down and standing up.
