Backward look at aortic stent shows how well it holds up

NCT ID NCT06972095

Summary

This study looked back at medical records to see how well a specific stent graft device performed in patients with abdominal aortic aneurysms that had wide or cone-shaped neck areas, which can be trickier to treat. It included 268 patients who had the elective procedure at one hospital in the Netherlands between 2011 and 2020. The main goal was to see how many patients needed a follow-up procedure within the first year and to track long-term safety issues like leaks, device movement, and aneurysm growth.
