New online therapy aims to calm anxious young minds with autism

NCT ID NCT06066983

Summary

This study is testing a new online therapy program called DINOSAUR, designed to help reduce anxiety in young children (ages 4-6) who have autism. The program uses a form of talk therapy adapted for kids with autism and is delivered to families over video calls. Researchers want to see if this program is practical for families to use and if it works better than a standard educational program at easing children's anxiety and their fear of uncertainty.
