Summary

This study looked at how anxiety before gum graft surgery affects patients' quality of life and pain during the first month after the procedure. Thirty-six adults with thin gum tissue took part. Researchers measured anxiety levels before surgery and tracked daily pain and quality of life for a week and again at one month. The goal was to see if more anxious patients had a harder recovery, but no new treatment or cure was tested.
