Brain zaps and scans: new study aims to unlock Anxiety's secrets

Summary

This study uses a combination of brain stimulation (TMS) and brain scans (fMRI) to see how stimulating a specific brain area affects anxiety-related brain activity and startle responses. About 140 healthy adults will take part. The goal is to gather evidence that could lead to better TMS treatments for anxiety in the future.
