Blood thinner safety during prostate surgery under investigation

Summary

This study looks at whether men with an enlarged prostate can safely continue taking their blood thinners during laser surgery. About 389 men on anticoagulants will be randomly assigned to either stay on their medication or stop it before surgery. The goal is to see if continuing blood thinners increases the risk of bleeding complications.
