New antibody treatment tested to keep bone cancer from coming back

NCT ID NCT02502786

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of an antibody called Hu3F8 and a drug called GM-CSF can help keep patients with recurrent osteosarcoma (a type of bone cancer) in remission longer and prevent the cancer from returning. The trial involves 46 participants aged 1 to 40 who have had their cancer come back but are currently in remission after surgery. Researchers will measure how long patients remain cancer-free after receiving this treatment.
