Summary
This study is testing whether giving antibiotics during labor can help first-time mothers with obesity avoid C-sections and infections. It will involve about 787 women across multiple hospitals who are having their labor induced at or near their due date. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the antibiotics or a placebo (inactive substance) to see which group has better outcomes.
