Summary
This study tested whether applying antibiotics directly into the tooth socket after wisdom tooth removal works as well as taking antibiotic pills. 90 adults aged 18-40 took part. The goal was to see if the topical approach could reduce infection, dry socket, and pain while avoiding side effects from oral antibiotics.
