NCT ID NCT04948463
First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at whether stopping antibiotics early is as safe as waiting for the child's white blood cell count to recover in children with cancer who have a fever and low white blood cells. 55 children took part. The goal was to see if early stopping leads to more problems like fever returning or needing intensive care.
