New antibiotic tested for safety in kidney patients
NCT ID NCT07104162
Summary
This study aims to understand how a new antibiotic combination is processed by the body and if it is safe for people with different levels of kidney function. It will enroll 40 adults with normal kidney function or mild to severe kidney problems, including those on dialysis. Researchers will give a single dose of the antibiotic and then closely monitor the participants to gather information that will help determine the right dose for future patients with kidney disease.
