Shorter antibiotic course tested for prostate surgery

Summary
This study aims to find out if a shorter, 3-day course of preventive antibiotics works as well as the standard 7-day course for men having laser prostate surgery. It will enroll 250 men who already have a urinary catheter before their procedure. The main goal is to see if both approaches prevent infections like UTIs and sepsis equally well.
