NCT ID NCT07096310
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two common types of powerful antibiotics works better as the first treatment for sepsis, a life-threatening infection, in patients with serious burns. It will compare how well patients survive and recover when given either Meropenem or Piperacillin/Tazobactam. The goal is to identify the most effective initial treatment while also tracking serious side effects like a dangerous gut infection.
