New study aims to supercharge root canal treatments

Summary
This study looks at whether adding other medicines to a standard root canal paste can better kill bacteria in infected teeth. 45 adults with a tooth infection called apical periodontitis will receive one of three pastes during their root canal retreatment. The goal is to find the most effective way to reduce bacteria and improve treatment success.
