Summary
This small, completed study tested the safety of aflibercept injections around the eye in people with active Thyroid Eye Disease. The goal was to see if this drug, which blocks a protein that causes swelling, could safely reduce eye inflammation, bulging, and double vision. Eleven participants received a series of three injections and were monitored for side effects and changes in their eye condition.
