Doctors look back: did a new Anti-Shaking rule help heart attack survivors?

NCT ID NCT05264246

Summary

This study looked back at the medical records of 165 adults who received cooling therapy after their heart stopped. Researchers compared patients treated before and after a new hospital protocol was introduced to reduce shivering during cooling. The goal was to see if the new protocol changed how much muscle-relaxing medication was needed or affected other patient outcomes.
