Scientists test Anti-Aging cocktail for smokers

NCT ID NCT07058974

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether a combination of exercise, a dietary supplement (spermidine), and one of two drugs (rapamycin or lamivudine) is safe and feasible for older adults who smoke or used to smoke. The main goal is to see if participants can stick to the regimen and to check for serious side effects. Researchers will also measure blood markers related to inflammation and aging to understand how these interventions might work together.
