First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at whether screening pregnant women for depression and anxiety and offering early treatment can prevent these issues after childbirth. Over 3,300 pregnant women took part. Some received screening and a tailored program (videos and counseling), while others got usual care. The goal was to see if early help improves mental health after the baby is born.
