New knee arthritis injection begins first human testing

NCT ID NCT06539429

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety and initial effectiveness of an experimental injection called ANT-301 for people with moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis. Six participants with significant knee pain will receive the injection to see if it's safe and if it helps reduce pain and improve knee function. This is the first time this treatment is being tested in humans, so researchers are starting with a very small group to carefully monitor for any side effects.
